Dr. Jack Bui, MD, PhD


Dr. Bui obtained his MD and PhD from UC San Diego. He completely post-doctoral research and a clinical pathology residency at Washington University in St. Louis. He has board certification in clinical pathology and directs a basic research lab focused on cancer immunology and innate immunity. His research interests also include cancer immunology, skin inflammation, cytokines, hematopoiesis, and microplastics. His clinical niche involves bone marrow transplantation, autoimmunity, and allergic disease. He directs the Stem Cell Processing Laboratory, overseeing processing of hematopoietic stem cells for bone marrow transplants. He also directs the Flow Cytometry and Diagnostic Immunology Laboratories, which run clinical assays to diagnose hematologic malignancies, measure autoantibodies, and identify specific antigens which could cause allergies in patients.
